About Us

We are a small team of passionate gardeners and ecologists dedicated to transforming your outdoor space into a botanical haven with purpose and abundance. Our intention is to help heal a damaged Earth and restore vitality to soils, waters, reefs, native ocean life, plant life and wildlife, by rewilding our ecosystems, starting with your own garden.

Our projects range from humble lānais to backyard DIY spaces to upcountry farms and more lavish seaside estates. We work in natural spaces big and small because the right kind of plants in the right locations will have a ripple effect throughout the entire ecosystem, helping insects, birds, fish and humans alike, to thrive.

Collectively, we have decades of local experience and relevant education, with degrees and graduate certificates from University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, University of Southern California, Harvard University and Cornell University.

By following the wisdom and cultural practices of Hawaiian and other Indigenous people, we can use Traditional Ecological Knowledge to align the rhythms of nature with inspired landscape designs for a more sustainable pae ʻāina and planet.
